As we are consistently trying to find ways to progress spiritually, physically and financially through motivational literature, strong friendship bonds, family, and a steady sense of self, I have redesigned Mo Freeman Salon to incorporate value-added services, thus enriching the source of support and encouragement for the lifestyle issues that we face throughout life's journey. This newsletter is the avenue through which we will introduce ideas to be infused into your salon and life experiences. Al2gether we can be Mo Creative, Mo Inspired, Motivated. Welcome to the new Mo Freeman Salon. A Lifestyle.

It’s spring break and you don’t have any plans for the kids. Well, here are some suggestions you are sure to love that won’t break the bank.

Gulf Shores/Orange Beach
Located just 6 ½ hours outside of Atlanta, Gulf Shores/Orange Beach is a great get away with plenty of family fun to enjoy. There is dolphin watching, shrimping, day cruises as well as Waterville USA–a 20 acre water-park, the zoo and hot air balloon rides. These are just a few of the fun activities in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. For accommodations, take a look at The Beach Club Resort, www.beachclubal.com. These cozy rental condos allow you enough space for time with the kids and some quite time alone.

Orlando
Universal Studios is the place to be and is also just 6 hours from Atlanta. If you have kids and they like rides, this is the park for you. Not only is Universal Studios great for the kids, it is very cool for parents, as well. Adults will enjoy Citiwalk, a collection of shops, nightclubs, restaurants and a movie theater for your spring break fun. Check it out at www.universalorlando.com.

Where to stay? You and the kids can enjoy a suite at Nickelodeon Family Suites just down the street from the park – www.nickhotel.com. There the kids can play on the basketball courts, in the arcade, or – for your princess or prince – there is a Kids’ Day Spa (how cool is that!). If that’s not enough, you and the kids can have breakfast with your favorite Nick character, like Spongebob or Dora. Shuttles transport from the hotel daily to Universal Studios theme park. Packed yet?

Cruising
I would be remiss if I didn’t recommend that you try a cruise. Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney – you’re sure to enjoy whichever you choose. Cruising is an all-inclusive trip that allows you to visit different islands and countries for a fraction of the price. Jump onboard just 5 to 6 1/2 hours from of Atlanta. All you need is a passport and a vision. Cruises to the Bahamas are as low as $249 per person and accommodate up to four people in a cabin. Cruises have something for everyone – restaurants, casinos, pools, day spas, island excursions and more. Smooth sailing!

Around Town
If leaving Atlanta is not an option, here are some things you can do here in the city: the Apex Museum, Medieval Times, Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, Six Flags Atlanta and Fernbank Museum, just to name a few.

Whatever you decide to do, get out there and see the world and take your kids with you.
